Veritas Vineyards and Winery
Veritas Vineyards is a beautiful vineyard and winery in Afton. This is a beautiful vineyard and a dream backdrop for your wedding day. This is also a four season wedding venue with indoor and outdoor locations for your ceremony and reception.
The vineyard has everything that you need for your wedding. You can start the day off by getting ready right at the venue. There are two different rooms for you and your partner to choose from so there is plenty of room for both your wedding parties to get ready.
For your ceremony, you can head outside to a tented area or go out on their lawn with the stunning view of the vineyards in the distance. If you do have to have your wedding indoors, you can opt for the tented deck, the Tasting Room, or the Ballroom.
These can hold 150 plus guests (depending on the option) so there is plenty of room for you and all of your guests. You can also have your reception in any of these rooms and they all create such an amazing atmosphere for your guests to celebrate with you.
One of the best things too, is you can actually go down into the cellar to take pictures for some really one-of-a-kind portraits during your wedding. If that wasn’t enough, they also have in-house catering, tons of tables, chairs, and plateware for your wedding, and so much more!
Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards
Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards is a stunning vineyard that sits on over 40 acres of land looking out to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The views here are enough to want to spend your special day here, but their facilities make it even better.
When it comes to your wedding ceremony, they are both indoor and outdoor locations to choose from so no matter the weather, you’ll have the perfect ceremony! For outdoor ceremonies, you get stunning views of the mountains on their Vineyard Lawn and Main Lawn.
Both of them offer an amazing backdrop for your ceremony. The Vineyard Lawn is a bit bigger and can accommodate 200 guests. For something a bit smaller, the Main Lawn is perfect and gives you the same experience in a more intimate way.
They have a Tasting Room that is the perfect space for a cocktail hour with plenty of room for your guests to mingle before heading in for dinner. For your reception, you can head into The Granary to celebrate the night with your guests.
What’s even better is that they have an all-inclusive package so everything from your food to your plateware and even decorations are included in your package!
Keswick Vineyards
If you are looking for the perfect place for a completely outdoor ceremony, Keswick Vineyards should be at the top of your list. This beautiful vineyard has so much open space and what I love about this venue is you are right up against the vineyards.
You are greeted with a beautiful roundabout with a massive fountain right in the middle. This is such an amazing place to get portraits taken, especially as the sun sets over the vineyard.
For your ceremony, you can sit right out on the lawn with the bright green vineyards as your backdrop as you say I do. You can enjoy this area during cocktail hour before heading into a tented area for the reception.
Don’t worry though, even though your wedding is all outside, they do have wedding suites for both you and your partner to use to get ready in style. They also have fans and heaters for your reception so no matter the weather, you and your guests will be comfortable!
King Family Vineyards
King Family Vineyards is one of the best places to get married in all of Virginia and it is clear to see why. Located just outside of Charlottesville, this beautiful venue can host up to 200 guests for your wedding.
You and your partner can start off the day in the getting ready suites which are the perfect size for you and your wedding parties. On sunny days, you can head out to the lawn to have your ceremony with the Blue Ridge Mountain as your backdrop.
For the colder or rainer days, you can have your ceremony right in the Carriage House with a beautiful stone fireplace behind you.
The North Gallery is a dream place to have your cocktail hour before you head into the Carriage House for your reception. As the sun goes down, this venue just gets even more magical and you and your guests won’t want to leave at the end of the night!
Merrie Mill Farm and Vineyard
Merrie Mill Farm and Vineyard is hands down the most unique vineyard on this list. While the outside looks like all of the other vineyards on the list, the inside is in a league of its own.
With bright colors and unique artwork through the venue, you will definitely have a one-of-a-kind wedding here. They also have everything you could need from getting ready spaces to a cottage you and your partner can stay in the night of your wedding.
For your ceremony, you can have it under their covered terrace so rain or shine your ceremony will be beautiful. Then you can head into the Tasting Room for cocktail hour with your guests before celebrating the rest of your wedding night in a tented reception space.

Eastwood Farm and Winery
Eastwood Farm and Winery is situated on over 77 acres of land and doesn’t just have great views of mountains, but is actually in the mountains themselves.
If this sounds like it is right up your alley, you’re in luck! You can actually have your ceremony on the mountain looking down over the beautiful area below. The ceremony location can also accommodate up to 200 guests and is accessible by car making it the perfect ceremony spot.
Alternatively, you can opt to have your ceremony on the lower terrace overlooking the vineyards. With beautiful greenery surrounding you and mountain views in the distance, you can’t get much better than this.
To celebrate this special time in your life, you and your guests can come together in their tent which is complete with a bar, string lights, and flooring! It also sits on top of a small hill with a beautiful stone staircase leading up to it.
For the perfect mix of mountain vibes and vineyard feels, Eastwood Farm and Winery is the perfect choice!
Early Mountain Vineyards
Last, but certainly not least, we have Early Mountain Vineyards. This venue is the perfect mix of rustic and luxury.
Besides the actual ceremony and reception spots (which we will get to in a minute) you’ll also find a cottage that you and your partner can stay in the night of your wedding, getting ready suits to prep for your ceremony, and a historic barn for stunning portraits.
For your ceremony, you can opt to head outside to the Great Lawn for amazing views of the surrounding area as you say I do. If an indoor wedding is more your speed, they have an amazing Great Hall that is a stunning location for your ceremony.
You and your guests can enjoy cocktail hour on the Terrace or in the Tasting Room before heading into the Event Hall to dance the night away together!
