Afton Wedding Venues
If you want to have your wedding outside of Charlottesville, a great place close by is Afton. Afton has several beautiful and unforgettable wedding venues.
Here are some potential options for you to consider:
Veritas Vineyard
Veritas Vineyard is nestled on a 250-acre farm with jaw-dropping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You can get married on their lush green ceremony lawn, which has panoramic views of the vineyard and the mountains.
You can then plan to have your reception in the Saddleback Hall grand ballroom or have an intimate wedding at the Farmhouse. This is a full-service wedding venue with accommodations available for you and your guests.

Hazy Mountain Vineyards and Brewery is a 36-acre estate vineyard with Tuscan-style architecture and breathtaking views of the Shenandoah Valley’s Blue Ridge Mountain. Your ceremony can be held in the hardscape courtyard, and they also offer an indoor ceremony option.
After saying “I do,” you and your guests can enjoy your cocktail hour in the beautiful Monte Cielo Room.
They also have an elegant grand hall where you can have your reception, and The Villa offers a luxurious stay for up to 16 guests with mountain and vineyard views. This venue offers an all-inclusive experience and has in-house catering teams.
Grace and Ethan’s Wedding in Afton, VA
Grace and Ethan had a really beautiful November wedding with all of the fall colors hanging on for one last hurrah at Valley Road Vineyards in Afton. Valley Road Vineyards is only 20 minutes west of Charlottesville and is less than a 40-minute drive from both Charlottesville Albemarle Airport and Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport.
Ethan and Grace had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony. The Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance served as an incredible backdrop for their photos. Grace’s most beautiful wedding vision was brought to life at this venue. We also took plenty of beautiful couple portraits in the property’s iconic vineyards.
Grace and Ethan partied hard with their guests and danced the night away in the barn on the custom-made dance floor underneath the hanging chandeliers.
Their friends and family were so energetic and excited about them getting married, and it was overall a great day and I loved celebrating with them.
