Frequently asked questions
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Sometimes! Depends on when and where. I mostly work in Charlottesville, Richmond, and DC for weddings. For portraits and branding sessions I am only available in Charlottesville and Richmond.
When are sessions available?
I can only offer portraits on weekdays due to my wedding schedule on weekends.
when will we receive our images?
Within 12 weeks for most weddings and within 5 weeks for most portrait sessions.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ON FILM?
I do! Almost all of my work on this website is film because I love it so much! Film coverage is included in all packages. I use a mixture of 35mm and medium format film and deliver the scans to you digitally.
Can you photograph My session only on film?
I can, and I would love to! When you inquire, just mention your interest in a full film session, and I will excitedly show you some examples and send more info!
DO YOU TAKE ANY POSED PHOTOS?
Regardless of your session type, I'll be sure to grab a handful of "quick look here and smile" kinda photos. For the most part it will be very laid back and relaxed, though. Often our time centers around an activity that you are naturally enjoying while I document. Senior photos are the most "posed" out of any of my offerings, but I still find ways to keep it lowkey and fun.
