Top Wedding Venues in Orange VA and the Surrounding Area
Inn at Willow Grove
Starting off the list we have the Inn at Willow Grove in Orange, VA. If you are looking for an outdoor wedding venue, this is a great option. With indoor and outdoor options for your wedding, this is an amazing place to tie the knot no matter the season.
Their Boxwood Gardens are the perfect place for your ceremony where you’ll be surrounded by nature and lush trees. You can then go over to their Ruins to celebrate the rest of the night with your loved ones.
This is also a functioning inn which means that you and your guests can stay right at the venue. Plus, they only have one wedding per weekend so you’ll have the entire space to yourself to celebrate with your friends and family.
You’ll also find catering on site meaning everything you need for your wedding is right at your fingertips. All of this, combined with the beauty of the property makes for an absolutely amazing wedding venue!
Keswick Vineyards
Looking for views of the Blue Ridge Mountains? Keswick Vineyards has you covered. Located just a 20 minute drive from Orange in Keswick, VA, this venue is absolutely stunning.
You can start your day off in their getting ready suites before going around the grounds to take some pre-wedding portraits. You will definitely not want to miss out on the gorgeous vineyards and the beautiful fountain right at the entrance.
When it is time to say your vows, you can head right out onto the lawn to tie the knot with the mountains and vineyards as your backdrop. There really is not much that can beat the view you get.
After the ceremony, it’s time to head into the tent to get your reception started. This sailcloth tent is so beautiful and they have heaters and fans so no matter the weather you and your guests will be comfortable for your reception!
Madison at the Mill
Madison at the Mill in Orange, VA is a venue steeped in history. Originally a silk mill back in the 1920s, the entire building has been transformed and revitalized, creating an amazing space.
The bottom of the mill houses some restaurants and other businesses, but the top of the mill has been crafted into a dream wedding space. The owners of the mill even had their own wedding here so you know it is a great venue!
Madison at the Mill has everything you need for your wedding day. There are two different getting ready suites for you and your partner. They also have a separate ceremony and reception location for you and your guests to enjoy.
Plus, since this was an old mill, it has a very open floor plan giving you tons of room. It also has a unique feel to it with exposed brick walls and beautiful chandeliers hanging down from an exposed ceiling with pops of red throughout.
Plus, there are some amazing open spaces surrounding the venue that give you the perfect place to take some portraits while taking in the view!
Early Mountain Vineyards
Early Mountain Vineyards is another amazing vineyard wedding venue for your special day. Just 20 minutes outside of Orange, you’ll feel as though you are in a world of your own.
Your wedding events can actually start the night before as there is a cottage that you can stay in before your wedding. When your wedding day officially arrives, you’ll find getting ready suites for you to use to prep before you walk down the aisle.
The Great Hall or the Great Lawn offer the perfect backdrop for your ceremony depending on if you are looking for an indoor or an outdoor option. Once you have officially said “I do,” you can kick the party off with a cocktail hour on their Terrace giving you and your guests more time to take in the beauty before breaking down on the dance floor in the Event Hall!
Boxwood Villa
Boxwood Villa is a wedding venue in Orange, VA that makes you feel like you are living out your storybook dreams. The house, the grounds, and everything in between are absolutely amazing and offer the perfect backdrop for you to start your new life together.
Boxwood Villa is one of a few properties owned by the people who own The Market at Grelen (which we will talk about next), and was originally purchased to actually be used as lodging for couples getting married at The Market. However, it has since blossomed into its own unique and beautiful wedding venue.
Whether you are looking for a more intimate elopement, a smaller micro wedding, or a grand wedding, they have you covered. They can accommodate anywhere from a 30 person elopement to a 150 person wedding.
For a nature filled wedding, this is the perfect choice. You can host your entire event right outside with your ceremony under a beautiful tree and your reception under and elegant tent. Plus, you are able to take engagement photos at the venue (or any of the other Grelen wedding venues) for free!
The Market at Grelen
The Market at Grelen, located in Somerset, VA, is another incredible Grelen wedding venue that is a great option for any couple looking for an outdoor wedding. This venue is absolutely magical and makes you feel like you are in a world of your own.
While I can go on about all of the amazing features of this venue, the one thing that really makes it stand out is the reception tent. Not only do you have the chance to have your entire reception outdoors, but they actually have a stargazing reception tent.
Yes, you read that right. They have a clear-topped tent that you can use for your reception meaning you can literally dance the night away under the stars with all of your closest friends and family. What more could you ask for?
The Depot
Finally, we have The Depot. The Depot is actually another Grelen property, but it has a completely different vibe than the previous two on this list. The venue is located right in downtown Orange and has more of a unique vibe to it.
The outside of the venue takes you back to an earlier time and has so much charm to it, while the inside has been crafted to create unique and elegant spaces for you to celebrate this amazing day in. There are three different spaces throughout the venue that you can choose from for your wedding (or combine depending on your wedding size).
What is great about this venue (besides being right downtown), is that each location throughout has its own vibe and spin to it which means you can really choose your own adventure when it comes to your wedding day.
There is even a luxury suite, called The 118, that is the perfect place for you and your partner to start your honeymoon together without even having to leave the venue!
